About the Job

We are looking for an experienced communicator to join the communications unit. In the unit, we work both strategically and operationally to support management and employees in internal and external communication issues that are prioritized based on Digg's mission, goals, and deliverables.

As a communicator, you will:

• work as communication support in assignments that develop digital services for the public sector
• work with analysis, strategy, implementation, and evaluation of communication initiatives
• write and publish texts such as news articles, press releases, presentations, and web content on digg.se and our intranet
• plan and conduct webinars
• work with news evaluation, message formulation, and provide support to managers and employees in communication issues

About You

• Holistic view - you take responsibility for understanding and acting in accordance with Digg's mission on a comprehensive level. You easily understand and switch between different perspectives and consider the best interests of the entire organization in decisions and actions.

Knowledge

• Can independently plan, implement, follow up, and further develop communication initiatives
• Good knowledge in producing news articles, press releases, web content, and short messages in our social channels
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both orally and in writing. This means you express yourself both in writing and orally in a pedagogical manner so that the recipient understands and the red thread is maintained. You need to be able to present both oral and written information in meetings or other forums both internally and externally. You are a good writer with the ability to shape messages, clarify, and communicate complex information.
• Knowledge of the laws, guidelines, and standards that public actors' websites must comply with

Experience

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in qualified strategic and operational communication work in a politically governed organization within the last 10 years
• Experience in developing communication plans and message formulation
• Experience in crisis communication
• Experience in web publishing in Sitevision
• Experience in planning and conducting webinars

Meritorious

• Experience in agile working methods
• Experience in the commissioning role for communication services

Education

You have an academic education in media and communication studies (at least 3 years of academic studies) or other experience that the employer deems equivalent.

About Digg

Digg is an authority that works broadly to support and coordinate the digitalization of the Swedish public administration. We develop digital infrastructure and services that assist other public actors in their digitalization. We also ensure that digital public services are accessible to all.

Possible Organizational Change

In order to strengthen the digitalization work, the government has tasked Digg and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) to propose how our two authorities could merge into one. The report was submitted to the government on March 14, and we are now awaiting a decision on whether an organizational change will be implemented. Digg's headquarters is located in central Sundsvall in modern activity-based premises. We also have a smaller and modern office in central Stockholm. We are positively inclined to allow for remote work based on the needs of the organization and the individual, but it is expected that you will be in the office at least one day a week and when the work requires it. The extent of remote work varies among different individuals based on the needs of the organization.
